What we believe
We believe the Bible is the written Word of God and is true and authoritative. All our teaching is based on it.
We believe God made a way for human beings to come to Him by giving His eternal Son Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins. In dying and rising again Jesus bore the punishment which was justly ours for our sin and won eternal life and forgiveness for us. We believe that Jesus was then raised from the dead and ascended into heaven. From there one day he will come again visibly as the same person he was on earth in glory.
We believe the Holy Spirit is given to the Church to equip it for service and to bestow special gifts through which we can serve God. We believe that the Church is God's vehicle for His purposes in the earth and that Christ works through the Church by His Holy Spirit.
We seek to work with other Churches locally in the Goodmayes Fellowship of churches which is part of Churches Together, are part of the Evangelical Alliance and a member of the New Frontiers Family of Churches. |
